GENERAL INFORMATION

Welcome to ICN+T 2018: Bridging the Future of Nanotechnology

We are delighted to extend a formal invitation to the 2018 International Conference on Nanoscience + Technology, hosted in the vibrant city of Brno, Czech Republic, from July 22 to 27. Ideally situated in the heart of Europe, Brno offers easy access for travelers, located just a two-hour journey from both Prague and Vienna.

A Legacy of Scientific Excellence

The ICN+T serves as the premier global successor to two major scientific traditions: the International Conference on Scanning Tunneling Microscopy/Spectroscopy (STM) and the Nano series. Since their historic merger in Basel in 2006, this event has evolved into a cornerstone forum for the interdisciplinary exchange of ideas.

Why Participate?

This year’s symposium is designed to explore the cutting edge of nanoscale research, focusing on:

  • Latest Breakthroughs: Discover the newest trends in science and technology at the atomic level.
  • Advanced Methodology: Gain insights into revolutionary instrumentation and techniques.
  • Global Networking: Join an estimated 400 researchers and experts from every corner of the world to share original findings.

Program Highlights

The 2018 agenda features a robust lineup of 50 plenary and invited lectures delivered by the field's most influential figures. Beyond the technical sessions, our commercial exhibition will showcase state-of-the-art equipment. Strategically placed alongside the poster presentations, the exhibition floor is designed to foster meaningful dialogue between technology providers and the scientific community.

Experience Brno and Beyond

As the capital of South Moravia, Brno is a city of rich culture and innovation. We invite you to explore its unique charm and suggest extending your stay by a few days to discover the historical landmarks and scenic beauty of the surrounding region.

We look forward to welcoming you to Brno for an inspiring week of science and collaboration!
